Our Mission Statement

...to provide coordinated services that will improve the quality of life for low-income individuals and other persons in need within Hamilton Township, with the aim of strengthening the individuals served as well as the communities in which they reside. The Wilson Center provides these services by matching identified individuals and community needs with resources available at all levels of funding through active community involvement.
Welcome to Wilson Center’s website.

Executive Director, Gloria Stephens
It gives me great pleasure to offer this site as a place to learn more about the center, from its history to the services we offer. This website represents the fulfillment of a promise we made some time ago – to serve the growing needs of Hamilton Township residents and to inform the community of services available to them.

Our promise to serve the needs of our diverse and growing community extends beyond Wilfred Avenue. We offer an extensive up-to-date Information and Referral program. If we can’t provide the help you need directly, we will refer you to someone who can.

It is our hope that you have found the information on this site to be useful and helpful. Please feel free to share you comments and suggestions with us. Your help is also needed in insuring the continuance of our services and programs. To continue providing much needed services, we depend on individuals and businesses for contributions. Any amount, great or small is needed and greatly appreciated.

Never forget what an impact you can have on those around you! Be an inspiration to others – there is no better way for you to help us implement our policy of neighbor helping neighbor than to make a generous donation. The Caring Partners Program is for those who will make a commitment to contribute a minimum of $100.00 annually to support the center.

Feel free to call us for additional information or just stop in for a visit. We look forward to a partnership as we continue together to make a difference.

FOOD PANTRY

Donations for our Food Pantry may be dropped off at the Center Monday through Friday 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.  During the month of November 2008, we assisted 39 families with food baskets.  If we are to continue this service, we need the help of the entire community.  We are depending on businesses, churches, individuals and other organizations to join us in our efforts to help these families stretch their food budget.

Remember donations to the Center are tax deductiable.
